A blog not only for '71er's but for anyone who grew up in Naples in the 60's & 70's. Including anyone who took a spin around the Pier, former Publix bag boys, Halloween egg throwers, East Naples GREASERS (that means anyone who lived east of Boat Haven) AND anyone who ever wondered what was in the "PORN ROOM" at Book Nook on 5th Ave and if the feet you saw under the door were your neighbors, or if people really cried in the Crying Room at the Naples Theatre......

Hey Danny, Love these pictures, my neighborhood...Hopped the pool at Holiday Inn just about everyday. Got busted about once a week, they knew me by my first name. "OK, Tara, take it on home before I have to call Ken again." Took along my secret stash of Vantage cigarettes and smoked like a chimney! Thought I looked so cool. Made friends from all over the country, shared my Vantage's with all the rebel teenagers, forced to be on vacation with their totally square parents...What a good time!
