A blog not only for '71er's but for anyone who grew up in Naples in the 60's & 70's. Including anyone who took a spin around the Pier, former Publix bag boys, Halloween egg throwers, East Naples GREASERS (that means anyone who lived east of Boat Haven) AND anyone who ever wondered what was in the "PORN ROOM" at Book Nook on 5th Ave and if the feet you saw under the door were your neighbors, or if people really cried in the Crying Room at the Naples Theatre......

You're doing a great job! I know that posting all these photos is hard work and time consuming so I'm requesting that all who attended, please get on this site and identify yourself!
I fully intended to be there but I was unable to attend due to circumstances beyond my control. I'm so jealous! It looks as if everyone was having a good time.
I recognize most everyone, however there are some I'm having a little trouble with. So come on, pass the word, everyone get on this site and comment on these photos!
Everyone looks wonderful. Donna, you haven't changed a bit! Cathy, you look maa-vaa-lous! Jeannie, still as cute as ever. I can still see the little girl in Emily and how great it was to see Gail! Lee, I'd know you anywhere! Gwen, I saw you too! And Pedro, well what can I say, you're the bomb! Hey, the guys got a little gray, oh well, I guess they couldn't help it!
I want to know everything. There are so many I haven't seen in years, many since the high school days, so please, tell me all the news I need to know, all the news I don't need to know and all the news I have no business knowing! I want it all!!

I looked at those photos, and I suspect that wasn't really Donna. It was one of those pod people that those 1950s movies warned us against.
A regular human couldn't be so unchanged.
See if she can bend her pinky finger. I bet she can't, and that means that she is a pod person.

Tara, Your name was on everybody's lips. We sure missed you and wondered where you were.
I took all thes photos I can help you with names.
It was the perfect group and to say we had a blast would be an understatement.
There were alot of folks who had never come. John Ziem( we are so happy you made it)..your family is lovelys, Ken Walker(ne of my first friends in Naples), Martha Townsend, Trish Zeller,
Erika Schneider(cool as ever).
It was great to see Gwen. funny, funny , fun.
I want to take time to thank Danny for putting this blog together. His efforts were so pricelss and we have made him an honorary member of the class.
This reunion was about coming together to celbrate our great life growing up in this town,
We were family regardless of which class we were in.
There does not need to be any banner year to party. Wish we could do it every year.
The response has been tremendous.
as for you Jim Page your ass better mark your calendar for the next one and drag Klinger with you!!!
As for all who live in town and don't want to be a part of our reunions. I am so sorry. What else can I say?
