I remember the trucks that used to spray also. When I would hear one of the trucks coming, I would hurry and hop on my bike and follow close behind thinking it was a great aroma! Oh brother, what was I thinking? Maybe that accounts for some of my memory and recall problems...I remember the trucks that used to spray...Oh wait a second, did I already say that?
Ah, that was when they still flew the Beech 18s left over from Bay of Pigs, before they replaced them with the leftover DC-3s that PBA used to fly.
Love that garlicky aroma!
Ohh My, waiting by the Ice House on 11th and running behind the trucks, that was a mad ritual. Also thinking I could get a shot off with my BB Gun on one of those planes that always woke me up at dawn. Yowza !
